despalles overcomes the distance that still exists between the German and French language areas. Thus the artist's books of the edition are mostly conceived from the outset as bilingual, French and German, or even trilingual. As a rule, they appear as first publications, always with unpublished translations. In them, artists and poets from different aesthetic categories meet.

Michèle Métail / Louis Roquin
Cent pour cent

A close collaboration: poem in 100 sequences by Michèle Métail;
collage of instruments and composition for seven violas by Louis Roquin, composer and visual artist.
The French word cent (100) has many homophone syllables or sounds in the same pronounciation.
The poet uses all the different words with this sound for the structure of the poem; the syllable itself was replaced by the number 100. In the meantime the composer uses the graphic structure of his collage for the music lines.
