Weder Senf noch Safran (Neither mustard nor saffron)
Franz Mon is a central fi gure of German concrete and
visual poetry and a contemporary witness of World
War II. Mon’s main theme throughout the poems in
this book remains German history.
The luminosity of Loubières’ wax-work and
Strugalla’s straight typo graphy are forming a surprising
contrast to the mood of the texts.
